Shower curtains usually require extra-wide fabric, or tricky matched seams, but there are a couple of easy ways around that. You can make a slightly narrower shower curtain, as we did here, or make two narrower panels that open in the center (we love the drama!). Either option gives a bathroom an instant little upgrade.
There is perhaps no easier way to make a simple bathroom feel like a kid-friendly space than by adding an illustrated shower curtain. Match it to our laundry bin and you’ve got a whole new bathroom. Voilà!
For this version, we used our sailcloth to make a single shower curtain that’s a little narrower than the standard shower curtain width, but is a perfect fit for the shower in Bee’s bathroom.
This is a very easy sewing pattern, but it does require buttonholes. If you want to skip the buttonholes, little clamp rings like these work beautifully. This is especially handy if your sewing machine doesn’t have a buttonhole attachment—or if you just aren’t in a buttonhole mood.
