We use lots and lots of cots on our porch for summer sleepover guests. Heather designed this floor pouf to slide right underneath the cots so that they could easily be pulled out and employed. This size is just big enough to sit cross-legged on comfortably, or you can put a tray on top and use one as a little coffee table. Either way, the shape is incredibly versatile.

We love the handle because it makes it easy to pull the pouf around without having to carry the whole thing, but you absolutely don’t have to add a handle if you don’t want to. We found that an extra long zipper added to two sides makes it much easier to remove and wash the pouf cover. We used an pre-made insert for our floor cushion; you’ll find a link to the one we used in the instructions. You could also make your own insert from shredded foam and poly fil, but it can be hard with a poof this large to achieve the right density without making it so heavy that you’ll never want to move it.
