Heather doesn’t work with a lot of blues. She loves blue—don’t get her wrong—but she doesn’t always love blue with pink, and nearly everything she makes includes pink. There’s the quandary. Capri Blue is the color of a Vermont summer sky, and that’s entirely intentional. It pairs perfectly with our Bluebirds print and works beautifully on larger pieces, especially in children’s rooms—boys’ rooms in particular, though we happen to know that plenty of girls love blue, too.

WHAT IS SAILCLOTH?

Introducing a new fabric for home sewing. Sailcloth is the perfect mix between upholstery fabric and drapery fabric: soft enough for bedding, but with enough structure for pillows and drapes. Sailcloth is 100% cotton and printed in unique Heather Ross prints, including coordinating ginghams.

COORDINATING FABRICS

CARE

Shrinkage: Prewash before using.

Machine Washing: Machine wash cool or warm water with like colors on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent.

Drying: Sailcloth may shrink slightly when exposed to high heat. Use low heat if possible. Remove promptly.

Ironing: Iron on reverse side with medium-high heat. Use a pressing cloth, if desired.

Do not bleach.

Do not dry clean.
